AHR Expo 2024 NAVAC Evacuation Contest

DISCOVER THE SPEEDIEST TECHNICIAN IN TOWN! Participate in the NAVAC Evacuation Contest and showcase your rapid vacuuming skills. The challenge is straightforward: who can reach 500 microns the fastest using their preferred NAVAC tools? The ultimate champion will take home a NAVAC signature NP4DLM Cordless Vacuum Pump (valued at $1029 MSRP) and along with NEVK2 Rapid Evacuation Kit (Valued at $179 MSRP). RULES

General Details:

  • Show off your vacuum process skills and compete for prizes and prestige in NAVAC’s First to 500 contest! Choose your hardware and tools from our selection and evacuate our test vessel head-to-head against a challenger. Our test vessel is equivalent to a 5-ton A/H coil with 90 feet of line set or 500 feet of 3/8” pipe, or 200 feet of 7/8” pipe. The contest setup simulates a 5-ton retrofit changeout.

How to Participate:

  1. Come to the NAVAC booth, scan the QR code, and click the button below to sign up.
  2. Once signed up, wait until a booth staff assigns you to a contest arena.
  3. A countdown of 1 minute will be provided to contestants to check out the tools provided.
  4. After the 1-minute countdown, contestants press the stopwatch to initiate the timer.
  5. Assemble your chosen vacuum setup using the provided options at your station. You are permitted to use any combination of items available; however, a micron gauge must be part of your setup.
  6. Turn on the pump and begin the evacuation.
  7. A Contest Gauge will be attached to the Testing Vessel. When this gauge reaches 500 microns, the contestant can shut off the vacuum pump and push the button to stop the timer.
  8. NAVAC staff will record the time, and your result will appear on the leaderboard if applicable.

Warning! These will VOID your score:

  • Participation without signing up.
  • Stop the timer BEFORE it pulls below 500 microns.
  • Stop the timer BEFORE shutting off the vacuum pump.
  • Any form of cheating or misconduct.

Result

  • The Daily TOP 5 and the Overall Leaderboard contestant will be announced on NAVAC’s official social media platforms at the end of each day.

Prize

  • TOP 5 Daily Fastest Technicians will receive 1 NAVAC giftpack (HVAC Tactical Hoodie, NAVAC Hat, NAVAC Hoses Organizer FHH4, NAVAC Knee Pad).
  • The Frontrunner will receive 1 NP4DLM NAVAC Cordless Vacuum Pump + 1 NEVK2 Rapid Evacuation Kit.
  • All the prizes will be sent within 2 weeks after AHR Expo. The final results will be announced on NAVAC social media platforms.
  • All Contest Participants will receive mystery freebies from NAVAC.
